Payout Process and Taxation with CopeCart Pro – Everything You Need to Know

Payouts, Credits, KYC

Updated over 2 weeks ago

In this article, you’ll find comprehensive information about the payout process with CopeCart Pro.

How the Payout Process Works

The amounts you earn from sales on CopeCart Pro are transferred to your bank account on a regular basis. To ensure everything runs smoothly, please make sure of the following two points:

How to Add Your Bank Details

Go to Settings → Account Settings → Payout Account.
There, you can set your payout interval, the minimum payout amount, and enter your IBAN and BIC.

Payout Days and Interval

Payouts are not processed immediately. Instead, they follow the interval you have selected: weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

Please note that payouts are always initiated on fixed days of the month: the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.

Note on the “80/20 rule”:

  • 80% of your earnings are paid out 14 days after a successful sale.

  • The remaining 20% are paid out 40 days after the sale.

This security retention serves as protection against chargebacks and refunds.

Fast Payout:
If you would like to receive your payouts faster, you can learn more about our Fast Payout feature here.

When Is Your Next Payout?

You can see your next payout date under the Payouts tab in your CopeCart account.

Viewing Your Payout History

Under Payouts, you’ll find an overview of all payouts that have already been processed. Each transaction is listed with a transaction ID and the corresponding order IDs.

Enable Email Notifications

Would you like to be automatically notified by email for each payout?
Simply enter your email address under Settings → Payout Account.

Credit Note

At the beginning of each month, you will receive a credit note that clearly summarizes all sales from the previous month. Credit notes are generated in German, English, or Spanish, depending on your account’s language settings.

What Does the Credit Include?

The monthly credit note includes only payments that were actually received during that month. Future payments (such as amounts from open installment plans or ongoing subscriptions) are not included.
